What is podiatry?
Podiatry is a branch of medicine specialising in foot care. Our treatments include:
- ROUTINE CARE including hard and dry skin (callus) corns, ingrowing toenails, skin and problem nail conditions, fungal skin and nail infections, verruca, blisters and chilblains.
- DIABETIC FOOT SCREENING which includes neurological and vascular assessments
- PREVENTATIVE CARE of people with specific conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation and various forms of arthritis
- BIOMECHANICS involves a full gait analysis orthotic therapy with issue of bespoke insoles
